Iron Flag Fitness is looking for passionate coaches and a future General Manager to join our team in Westmont, IL.
We're growing and looking for the right people to join our team. Two roles are currently open — one full-time leadership position and one part-time coaching role.

This is a full-time, salaried position designed for someone who wants to build a career as the "first mate" in running the gym. You'll coach, sell, manage operations, and help grow Iron Flag into the next chapter. Within the next year, this role is designed to evolve into a full General Manager & Head Coach position.
The role breaks down into four core areas. Every week looks a little different — and that's the point.
Leading group CrossFit and HYROX classes, delivering personal training sessions, onboarding new clients, and mentoring our newer coaching staff. You're on the floor, in the action, every day.
Conducting No Sweat Intros (NSIs), following up with leads, running goal-setting sessions with members, and driving membership growth through community outreach and referrals.
Handling billing, membership holds and cancellations, tracking monthly metrics, managing the coaching schedule, coordinating apparel orders, and keeping the backend running smooth. Some of this can be done from home.
Supporting gym events and challenges, covering classes when needed, keeping the ProShop stocked and dialed in, and handling whatever else the week throws at you.
We believe in rewarding performance. This role comes with a strong base and multiple ways to earn more as you help the gym grow.
Full-time salaried position with consistent, reliable pay bi-monthly
Monthly stipend to help offset your health insurance costs
Earn additional hourly pay for any classes coached beyond your weekly schedule
Bonus opportunities tied to sales, membership growth, and overall gym performance
CrossFit Level 1 (or equivalent) certification — or willingness to obtain
Experience coaching group fitness classes
Strong communication skills and a genuine love for connecting with people
Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Flexible schedule — early mornings, evenings, and occasional Saturdays
Sales experience or willingness to learn (we'll train you)
Comfortable with technology — CRM systems, billing platforms, scheduling tools
HYROX coaching experience or race participation
Personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, etc.)
Management or leadership experience in any industry
Experience with Go High Level (GHL) or similar CRM platforms
Background in sales, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
Nutrition coaching certification
Experience running gym events, challenges, or competitions

We're looking for someone who lights up when they walk into a gym. Someone who knows every member's name, brings energy to every class, and genuinely cares about the people they coach. You don't just lead workouts — you build relationships, hold people accountable, and make Iron Flag the best part of someone's day. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
Weeknight evening slots that need coverage — great for coaches with daytime commitments.
Saturday morning classes with high energy and a great community vibe.
Take as many or as few slots as fit your life. We'll work around your availability.
Specific schedule details will be discussed during the interview process based on your availability.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to your scheduled slots
Positive energy and a genuine care for member experience
Comfortable coaching athletes of all levels — from beginners to competitors

Opportunity to earn more with additional PT clients
